About Atlantic Tank Sales

Atlantic Tank Sales specializes in acquiring surplus industrial propane storage vessels from refineries, manufacturers, utilities and propane distributors. We coordinate removal of tanks we purchase and resell equipment directly to industrial buyers nationwide.

Decades of Experience in the Propane Industry

Our experience is rooted in a family propane business that began in the Philadelphia area in 1961. After years working in the propane and oil industry, the business evolved toward industrial storage tank purchasing and resale. Today, Atlantic Tank Sales draws on more than five decades of propane industry experience and more than three decades in the industrial tank business.

We Buy Tanks Directly — We Are Not a Broker

We purchase directly from industrial owners—not as brokers—including facilities closing, consolidating or retiring propane standby and peak-shaving equipment.
